Panda cuddles
My belated Mother's Day bento "Mama Panda & Baby Pandas" I simply followed the panda lunch box cover design ^_^ Pretty easy by cutting the nori detailed and filled up all the rice. Baby pandas made out of quail eggs and nori detailed. This time I added red ribbon pick for female pandas :) As for side dishes have prawns and pea sprouts.

Peanuts Snoopy & Woodstock
On Tuesday, I made a quick and easy bento for Snoopy & Woodstock. As you can see from the above photo that Snoopy was made of rice (filled up all) Freehand scissor cut out nori detailed and Woodstock made out of egg sheet with nori detailed as well. I added some broccoli on top of Woodstock to let it stand out more better. At another container, I prepared one piece of chicken katsu cut into few bite size, broccoli, honey cherry tomato and some seedless grapes.

Sheep Bento
Baa baa..... white sheep bento for my daughter's Wednesday lunch box. I mixed little bit of dark sweet sauce with rice for the sheep face/ears. The fur made out of cauliflower that I filled up on top of the rice. Freehand scissor cut out the nori detailed and how I wished my eyelashes can be as long as the sheep lashes :p Side dishes have gyoza, carrots and oranges.

Puppies sausages
On Thursday, I cooked simple stir-fried noodles for her lunch and add on sausages on top into puppies designed. Puppies ears made out of oval shaped fishballs and nori for all the face detailed. All the tiny flowers were cut out from the crabstick and side dishes have baby bok choy (chinese cabbage) and slices of orange

Bento2014#Jun11~Sheep Costume Girl

Baa...baa...white sheep costume that little girl wears ^_^ Today's theme I inspired by my mobile phone wallpaper theme (Variety Yoyo). Look so cute that I can't resist!!! So I made it into my daughter's bento lunchbox!  Lovely right?

Here's the close up Sheep Costume Girl ^_^ To made the face, mix the rice with some ketchup then shape onigiri using cling wrap. Add nori for the details then arrange into the lunchbox. Next, I add part of the pea sprout around the girl onigiri head then cover up with white rice to make as sheep. Cut out two oval shape carrots for the sheep horns with nori details.

For side dishes: Pan-fried gyoza, button mushroom, carrots and few slices of apple (soak with salt water)

Hope you like today's theme bento and perhaps I can just make another few more design for next bento....hehehe

Happy Wednesday and thank you for the visit! Hugs!

Bento#Nov27~Bunny & Sheep Quail Eggs

While cleaning and sorting out my food picks.... I saw this cute set of picks that I bought since my Osaka trips! Time to open ceremony those cute picks ^_^ Haha.... Well, I choose bunny blue pick and pink sheep pick for today's post! I have left over yam rice from last night dinner so I just heat up and sprinkle some flower/sesame furikake on top! I add some cucumber as leave for some green touch :)
A closer look of the Bunny Quail Egg and Sheep Quial Egg ^_^ After removed the quail shell, just gentle rub on your palm for oval shape. Insert the picks and punch out nori for all the details! I add some red cheeks (food gel). Lastly, freehand scissor cut the eyelashes. *Note: I insert wrongly for the blue bunny picks =_=" Didn't realize it :p
For side dishes: Cut the sausages into half as heart and carve apple. Quick lunch bento for my girl as she has requested. I hope you will like it and have a nice day!

Bento#April23~Shaun & Piano the Sheep

I am so tired today =_=" After finished cooking dinner for my family, I quickly do a simple bento snack for my girl. I wanted to use Piano the Sheep nori (already nicely trim and comes with My Melody nori) So for her snack, I made two different sheep! Piano the Sheep & Shaun the Sheep ^_^ Peanut butter sandwiches underneath.
Put Piano the Sheep on top of cheese and use toothpick to trim out. Add the eyes and nose that comes together with the packet. As for Shaun the Sheep, I used cutter to cut out the cheese for body and freehand cut out nori for head and legs. Add in small cheese eyeballs using cutter as well and punch out nori eyes.
For her desserts, I add strawberries and grapes. Mini cupcakes underneath the sweet cake from Japan. Nothing special but at least I did some theme bento snack for her :) Cheers!
