Angry Birds bento theme again ^_^ This round I make "red" Angry Female Bird for the leading role and tiny male next to it. Actually, I want to make both female but I don't have enough time =_="
A closer look of the Red Angry Birds! To make red rice, I mix the rice with ketchup. Crabstick for the eyes (white/red), carrot for the beak, cheese as ribbon and lastly freehand scissor cut out nori details.
For side dishes have pea sprouts, baby corns, fish balls, potato wedges, chicken donuts and some grapes.
I hope you like today's Angry Bird Bento sharing. Have a lovely Thursday!

Since is my kids school summer holidays and I can have more time taking photos for this "Owl Inari Bento" tutorials. I want to make it simple so that you can enjoy doing it at home :) So let's begin with many photos tutorial!! *Please pardon for my humble photography skilled :p
- Cheese, Nori/seaweed, cooked rice mixed with sushi vinegar (optional), inari skins
- Shape the rice into a triangle using cling wraps or rice moulds if you've :)
- Add inari skin into the rice and wrapped with the cling wrap.
- Next, use cutter to cut out oval shape and circle shape.
- Here is the photos after the cut out :)
- Use puncher to punch out the nori for the owl's feather shapes.
- Freehand scissor cut the nori/seawwed for the eyes and eyebrows for the big owl.
- Add the nori to the cheese and use smaller shape cutter for the inner eyes.
- To bring out the "LOOK" Just add the cheese on top of the nori and follow the shapes.
- Now arrange the eyes to the inari rice balls :)
- Here is the look of the owls after add all the details :) For the mouth I used sweet corn.
- Next following steps will be arranging into the bento box :) I put the owls into silicone cups.
- I add wax paper into the bento box. You may substitute with lettuce :)
- Here is the photos after adding into the bento box :)
- For another bento box as I've used two tier bento box :)
- Arrange the 3 pieces of pan-fried chicken wrap with seaweed or any dishes you like for this section. You can skip this part as I just showed you how I arrange my dishes into the box!
- Now I add crab rolls into the silicone food cups and arrange tamagoyaki on top with pasley and edamame.
- Add broccoli next to sweet corn and I carve the apple as leaf.

Bento#May15A~Sleepy Tweety Bird
My girl requested Tweety Bird for her snack so here it is...Sleepy Tweety Bird!! I don't want to use too much of the time on making Tweety Bird blue eyes so I thought of made a sleepy one....hehe....resting on the tree. I hope you will like this idea!
Draw Tweety Bird on baking/tracing paper then scissor cut out and lay on top of the cheese. I used toothpick to trim out the cheese. Once done, freehand cut out nori for all the details. The orange lips and legs were kamaboko or you can use carrot ^_^ After finished the bird details, I made peanut butter sandwich and add some lettuce and bread skin for tree branches. Put the Tweety Bird on top and add some flower/leaf picks next to it!
I took some photo of it but when comes to adding the details for nori, I didn't take photos due to each cut out nori, I'll paste straight away on the cheese. Of cause I will face some difficulty or cut too thin/fat....I'll scissor cut again for better Tweety Bird outlines ^_^
Kamaboko as flower, honey cherry tomato and haw flakes.
While taking photos....my girl came to me and check whether mummy making Tweety Bird? When saw it was correct, happily said: "Thanks mummy. You made the Tweety Bird exactly the same like the television show!" Aww....she so sweet and I'm so touched whenever she appreciates all my bento creation ^_^

Bento#May08~Birds Spaghetti Lunch
This is for my son's lunch bento box. Usually I don't decorate his bento but due to my daughter not feeling well and only prepared one bento. I just can't help it without decorate it since I've plenty of time after finished cooking the spaghetti ^_^
The two birds were added last minute as I find it too plain in the middle :p I think myself can't help it without making any cute character! Haha....when I told my son and he saw the birds. He said: Mummy, its ok. I will shake it before I open =_="
I just add cucumber, egg sheet, sweet potato and cherry tomato for decoration. Birds were cheese and used cutter to cut. Punch out nori for the birds details. For fruits, I cut some kiwi fruits, strawberries and grapes.
I hope you will like this simple design "Birds Spaghetti" bento ^_^ Cheers!
