• Snoopy: Rice (chicken floss underneath), freehand scissor cut out nori detailed.
• Mini Snoopy: Quail eggs, freehand scissor cut out nori detailed.
• Side dishes: Kiwi fruit, prawn gyoza, pea sprouts.

 31.05.16 (Tuesday)

• Jackie: Chicken katsu by using Jackie cookie cutter to cut out the shaped. Add on cheese and nori for the detailed. Punch out paw nori for extra touched.
• Side dishes: stir-fried okra, rice, orange (sprinkle sour plum on top), mayo.

 

01.06.16 (Wednesday)

 

• Domokun: Tofu skin and freehand penknife cut out the shaped. Add on crabstick for mouth and bouquet of flower. Punch out nori eyes using puncher.
• Side dishes: Rice, cauliflower, carrots, sweet sauce chicken drummet, kiwi fruits inside the egg case.

02.06.16 (Thursday)

 

• Chicks: Mashed potatoes, punch out nori detailed using puncher and carrots for beak/feathers
• Side dishes: Rice covered by pumpkin floss, curry chicken with potatoes, bok choy, carrots and orange slices.

09.05.16 (Monday)

Panda cuddles

My belated Mother's Day bento "Mama Panda & Baby Pandas" I simply followed the panda lunch box cover design ^_^ Pretty easy by cutting the nori detailed and filled up all the rice. Baby pandas made out of quail eggs and nori detailed. This time I added red ribbon pick for female pandas :) As for side dishes have prawns and pea sprouts.

Peanuts Snoopy & Woodstock

On Tuesday, I made a quick and easy bento for Snoopy & Woodstock. As you can see from the above photo that Snoopy was made of rice (filled up all) Freehand scissor cut out nori detailed and Woodstock made out of egg sheet with nori detailed as well. I added some broccoli on top of Woodstock to let it stand out more better. At another container, I prepared one piece of chicken katsu cut into few bite size, broccoli, honey cherry tomato and some seedless grapes.

11.05.16 (Wednesday)

Sheep Bento

 Baa baa..... white sheep bento for my daughter's Wednesday lunch box. I mixed little bit of dark sweet sauce with rice for the sheep face/ears. The fur made out of cauliflower that I filled up on top of the rice. Freehand scissor cut out the nori detailed and how I wished my eyelashes can be as long as the sheep lashes :p Side dishes have gyoza, carrots and oranges.

12.05.16 (Thursday)

Puppies sausages

 On Thursday, I cooked simple stir-fried noodles for her lunch and add on sausages on top into puppies designed. Puppies ears made out of oval shaped fishballs and nori for all the face detailed. All the tiny flowers were cut out from the crabstick and side dishes have baby bok choy (chinese cabbage) and slices of orange

 

Bento2015#Dec10~Snoopy Bento

Have you watch the Snoopy And Charlie Brown: The Peanut Movie? I have not and been busy lately for my work before I can take few days break next week with my family :) Since I can't enjoy the movie for the meantime why not I make bento instead ^_^ I remember my dear talented friend tatachan @bonitafood once made cute Snoopy out from quail eggs! So cute and easy to create, she even shared the tutorial photos at Instagram! Click the highlighted link for Instagram or her Blog. 

A close up photo for my Snoopy and quail eggs ^_^ I fill up the rice full and half section add stir-fried veggies on top and leave the other half section to create a simple Snoopy design by just adding nori. Pardon me for the messy freehand scissor cut out nori details especially the eyes :p
 

As for side dishes have chicken katsu, mayonnaise at the sauce container and some grapes.

Do you see a bigger bento box next to it? I didn't make use of the Snoopy bento due to round shape and small space for me to add all the dishes. I got it from Universal Studio Osaka, Japan and they sold as Snoopy meal sets so we can bring home the bento box ^_^ 

Bento2015#Oct22~Snoopy sister Belle Bento

I bought new toy for my Tomica collections ^_^ Look at Snoopy sister "Belle" pretty and long eyelashes!!! My girl said: "Mummy, make Belle bento instead of Snoopy :D" So here you go.... my first attempt making "Belle" as Tomica car shape.
 

Here is my closer look Belle! Underneath Belle is pea sprout with goji-berry (goujizi). To make pink rice, I mix some sakura denbu and shaping using cling wrap. Freehand scissor cut out the nori details and I left out making the car screen pink :)

For side dishes have chicken cheese donuts and potato wedges.
