Bento#April17~Plum Flower Sushi

Yesterday I went to wet market bought some kamaboko. I'm so excited cause hardly can find but too bad they don't sell it all the time :(
So today's theme bento will be Plum Flower Sushi to match the kamaboko!
I followed the instruction of the Japanese making sushi book. The only one part I don't follow was the middle yellow part. I don't understand Japanese words and have no idea how to replace the middle yellow port. In the end, I just use egg sheet. I did add some green vegie but it didn't stand out. Must be too little I add. Will try again as this is my first attempt to made Plum Flower Sushi.
Mochi was a gift from my brother bought from Japan. Some grapes, cherry tomato and strawberry.
I cut some flower using cutter for orange sweet potato and purple sweet potato. Sweet sauce at bunny sauce container and lady's finger at the side.
I hope you will like this pretty Plum Flower Sushi. Cheers!

  1. Very nice!! just to share, you can replace fish sausage, carrots for the center. The veggie to be used for kazarimaki sushi is spinach. :)
