Bento#Oct07~Hello Kitty Swims

Hello everyone! How's everyone weekend? I'm sure you all had a great weekend right? Today's lunch will be "Hello Kitty Swims" ^_^ This time I just mixed the rice with Japanese sweet sauce with furikake. No porridge :p I want the Hello Kitty to be on top so if I cook porridge afraid might sink down :D
Here is the closer look of the Hello Kitty ^_^ After boiled the quail egg peel off the shell then rub the egg while still hot into ball shape. Next I cut into half, one for the head and the other half for body. Take another quail egg and cut the ears and legs ^_^ Freehand scissor cut out the nori for Kitty-chan face and eggyolk for nose (too tiny so won't  be able to have a nice cut). The swim float made of sweet bean curd skin or inari. Decorated with crab stick!
For side dishes: Pan fried seafood beancurd, broccoli wrap by inari, gyoza, plum and grapes.
Well, I hope you will like this simple lunch bento ^_^ Gosh.....don't you feel like jump to the pool right away after see my kawaii Kitty-chan swims? Haha...Happy Monday!

Few days later saw more of these Kitty sandwiches made by others too! Gosh....the temptation grows higher!!!! So the best way is to drive in Singapore and thanks to my dearest sister's family that I brought along my girl to joined them and bought it home with us!
~Cornell Hello Kitty Sandwich Maker~
Just made a simple kaya and butter spread for my girl's sandwich. She asked for more so I made another set for her today's Catechism Church lesson.
I packed them into the bento box and filled up the silicon food cup with some grapes, cherry tomato and Hello Kitty gummy inside the small HK sauce container ^_^ I hope you will like it too as I'm way too excited of making them as well! Haha....

Bento#Oct04~Dinner Bento for ME!!!

Today I'm going to write a dinner post recipe that I've followed JustOneCookbook. I always wanted to try out her recipes so this time finally tried out her "Garlic Miso Chicken" I loved Miso soup but didn't know that Miso also can marinate with other meats :p So it makes me curious how's the taste like? Surprisingly was awesome!! Thanks to Nami ^_^ If you like to see the recipe please click HERE. I liked her blog as she will showed you the tutorial pictures and loved the way she posted! At her recipe, she used chicken wings but I used chicken breast meat and instead of oven baked, I used air fryer!!! The results was YUMMY!!
Is quite a challenging tasks for me to design an adult bento and I would love to practice it ^_^ Hope you all will like it! After air fryer the "Garlic Miso Chicken", I sliced them and arranged on top of the rice (rice mixed with furikake) Each chicken slices, I add carrot flowers and cucumber leaves. For the silicon food cup, I add stir-fried Kai-Lan with mushroom and decorate cherry tomato roses ^_^ Bon appetit!
