The dress is made out of milk cabbage奶白菜and perfectly pretty as a dress :) Eggsheet for hair details and I added nori for extra touched.

Day 3: 3/2/16 (Wednesday)

Since CNY is coming soon, I created my 3rd CNY Theme bento. I made Baymax wears samfu and wished "gong xi fa cai" for the upcoming CNY :D Looking smart and handsome right? Haha.... The "福" nori wording was punched out using puncher (I can't remembered bought from where) Side dishes have bean curd with minced meat, broccoli and button mushroom.

Day 4: 4/2/16 (Thursday)

A closer look at the Korilakkuma in white and Kiiroitori as usual in yellow ^_^ As you can see Korilakkuma ears make of hard boiled egg white, I add punch out nori skull. To make Kiiroitori yellow, I mix the rice with hard boiled egg yolk (half), carrot for beak and nori details. Fill up the rest with spinach and I add cherry tomato for the Happy Halloween pick!

Reheat the overnight chicken curry from last night dinner and I add on to the thermos lunch box.

By the way, I'm so excited and appreciate with lots of love to all who have been supportive in my Instagram account ^_^ I noticed that I have hit 10K followers at my IG!! Bento2014#Sep18~Korilakkuma Obento

Can you spot my new needle felted Korilakkuma? Hehehe...I didn't purchase brown wool to make Rilakkuma so just made Korilakkuma instead ^_^ Still look cute right? Today's bento idea copy from my Korilakkuma Needle Felted craft.  So sad that I didn't purchase any ham or kamaboko for the pink touch. I add ketchup for the Korilakkuma :)

Here is the closer look of my Korilakkuma. I mix the rice with cooked egg yolk for yellow colour. Shape them up using cling wrap then arrange it. Fill up the holes with broccoli ^_^ Lastly, I add ketchup for the ears & legs.

For side dishes: chicken wings, sweet potato, sauce at the small container and I cut some kiwi fruit put to Korilakkuma container.

Opps....my ugly Korilakkuma Needle Felted ^_^ Anyway, kids love it and request for more other animals =_=" Hopefully I can squeeze my time to make for them :D

Bento2014#Sep10~Korilakkuma Bento

While looking for everyday bento lunchbox for next day (one night before) I saw some rice mould that I hardly use =_=" I prefer to shape it using cling wrap so seem that I've forgot about all those cute rice mould (all at my storage box). So today's theme to match my Rilakkuma bento box, I made Korilakkuma ^_^ Because my background already brown so I prefer my bear to stand out nicely. Looks cute right compare to Rilakkuma :)

A lot of preparation on cooking side dishes so using rice mould for shaping just come in handy. I made two tone tamagoyaki and surprisingly the inner yellow part look like heart shape ^_^ If you want to know how? I'm sorry to said that I don't know how? Hahaha....guess I'm lucky!
In this lunchbox contains pea sprout, shimeji, soba noodles, chicken drumette, tamagoyaki and mini grapes. Lastly shape Korilakkuma using the rice mould then add nori for details. Red part for ears are ketchup.

Hope you like it today's lunch bento. Happy Wednesday!

I did a sketched last night so that I won't waste time :) To matched this theme, I used Oyako Kingyo Bento box since is about fish and I liked this two different sizes goldfish bento boxes ^_^ Is like big bento box MAMA & the small bento box BABY.

For small Oyako Kingyo bento box, I made from Rilakkuma inarizushi, just add nori & cheese and of course must add Kabuto (Japanese Military Helmet) I folded last night :) Lastly, add some rock melons!

As for big Oyako Kingyo bento box, I filled some rice at half portion and decorate the Koinobori (carp streamer) on top.
  • Korilakkuma : imitation squid roll (surimi chikuwa)

Bento2014#Mar19~Rilakkuma & Friends

Last night dinner cooked some sweet chicken stew so I soaked the hard boiled egg together (sadly didn't soaked long enough as I want to put the egg into the Rilakkuma mould) These two eggs will be my today's theme bento ^_^

Here is the close up photo of Rilakkuma & Korilakkuma. My egg wasn't big enough to cover the whole egg mould so the eyes & mouth didn't turn out well.....hahaha.....I'm being fussy right? Well, I add kombu, cheese, crabstick (white) for the details. Underneath Rilakkuma, minced beef covered the rice.

For side dishes: Broccoli, sweet pea, strawberry and furikake (Rilakkuma container)

Hope you will like today's lunch and have a nice day!
