Bento#July01~Singing Bone Hello Kitty

Last week was the last McDonald Singing Bone Hello Kitty collection in Singapore!!! My sister and I didn't managed to collect the Ugly Duckling HK so this final piece HK my sister's hubby was so sweet that he drove in Singapore before midnight and queue to purchased ^_^ I am thankful to my brother in law ^_^ So here I made "Singing Bone Hello Kitty" sandwich for my daughter bento snack :)
I traced out HK and scissor cut together with nori then add on top of the cheese. As you can see one of the bone was bigger due to I missed out and forgot to cut =_=" So I have to used toothpick to slowly trim out from the cheese. To made the ribbon, I used toothpick to trim out the cheese then add crushed pink fondants. Little black cat also followed the same step as HK method but paste on egg sheet.
The background of the houses and bat were freehand scissor cut out nori (lazy to trace so do it freely) Underneath I add tuna sandwich and add egg sheet on top.
I hope you will like this "Singing Bone Hello Kitty" bento snack ^_^ Finally finished all 6 different Hello Kitty themes except two of them were made last year. If you missed out or like to see the rest of the McDonald Hello Kitty bentos. Please click the link below:
Thank you so much for all the "LIKE" at my Facebook page or Instagram. You all were the BEST!

Bento#June18~Hello Kitty The Frog Prince

Today's lunch bento I made The Frog Prince from McDonald Hello Kitty collection ^_^ I still have two more HK collection to grab :p Well, for today's bento I reheat last night dinner leftover meats and just steam the broccoli and sotong roll. As I need to take longer time for cutting out the nori outlines =_=" So can't waste too much time on cooking!!!
Hmm....when I mixed the rice with green furikake was quite greenish but when I look at the photos wasn't that GREEN :( *Sigh..... Oh well, as usual used cling wrap to shape the rice as froggy and combine the oval shape HK face (white rice only) Not happy with the hands as it stick to my fingers when I try to arrange into the bento box! Argh.....
The pink bow was made from rice too! I mixed with Mizkan Colourful Osushi Pink and used cling wrap to pressed in onto HK cutter mould for the shape. Freehand scissor cut all the details ^_^
I loved the strawberry kitty idea so whenever I saw strawberry will try to made them ^_^ The nori details using puncher to punch out the nori. Some grapes and checker apple.
Phew.....managed to finished it but when taking photos I'm not quite happy with the hands!! No time for shaping those hands =_=" Well, I hope you will like today's lunch bento ^_^ Cheers!

Bento#June12~Red Riding Hood Kitty

Yesterday I saw two different Red Riding Hood Kitty bentos posted by Bento, Monsters & 5am Bento ^_^ I loved both of their designed and inspired me to made one for today's lunch bento! My morning bento always in a rush so this HK bento seem unfinished job =_=" I still want to designed my house but the main character theme MUST be done with all the nori details.....sigh....
A closer look of HK Red Riding Hood together with the bad wolf! Only HK head used oval shape cutter to cut out the cheese then the rest of the details were freehand penknife & scissor cut. Crabstick for the red and eggsheet for the yellow. Oh...the ribbon cut by cutter not freehand :p
Airfried the Japanese Chicken Seaweed, steamed the broccoli, straw mushroom and cut the apple. Eggsheet and nori for the house and crabstick (white) for the road. Well, I almost want to give up on taking photos as I'm running out of time! Need to get myself changed for work and send them to school as my hb & I drive one car.
Oh well....today's bento was challenging work under stress of time! Especially I'm a working mum.

Bento#June10A~McDelivery Hello Kitty Witch

Yay.....I've collected McDelivery Hello Kitty Witch from my dear friend who worked in Singapore and already stayed there for many years! She was my Elementary Schoolmate and we both stayed in touch via Facebook!! Amazing right? More than 10 years and we both finally meet up!!! Gosh.... anyway, we had a great time chit-chat and wish to have MORE time!!
Normally for bento snack, I will do it in the evening cause morning always in a rush! I'm a working mum so time was very consuming! Sigh....
Well, I add butter roll bun and peanut butter sandwich into the bento box first. Next, I cut out HK face using HK cutter and punch out nori using puncher. As for HK body was freehand penknife cut out crabstick and scissor cut out nori. The broom made of inari and nori. Freehand cut out the witch hat and finished up all the nori details.
McDonald House made of crabstick and I can't add "McDonald" word on top so just freehand using toothpick to trim out the "M" =_=" For the bottom sandwich, freehand penknife cut out the boiled seaweed/kombu for night castle and spread some peanut for the ground based with some lettuce. Lastly, I add some grapes for her desserts ^_^ I hope you will like this bento snack! Cheers!

Bento#June04A~Grimace X Hello Kitty Bento

Today's bento snack I decided to make the 4th McDonald X Hello Kitty theme "Grimace" Just a simple sandwich and put "Grimace X HK" on top ^_^
As usual, I crushed the purple fondant (those tiny colourful fondant to deco cake/cookies) into powder then apply on top of the cheese that I already freehand cut out using toothpick. To made HK face, I used light cheese and punch out nori for the face details. Freehand scissor cut out the nori for Grimace too :) Lastly, I add "GRIMACE" alphabets fondants on top.
Some grapes, strawberry and one laughing cow cheese for the desserts. Finally, I've made all 4 McDonald X HK design bento. I hope you will like it! Cheers!
Here is Grimace X Hello Kitty close up picture.

It's Friday!!! Again I'm going to continue making the balance two McDonald HK from my collection. Today's dinner I made "McDonald Birdie HK" Simple dishes for my family dinner so I just arranged it on the plate :)
Here is the close up Birdie HK. I don't have any purple colour for the scarf so I used green soba. Also I can't stick well the egg sheet on HK shoulder so I don't actually like that part =_=" For not letting my daughter wait so I just leave it....
Pan-fried fish, egg with onion, stir-fried vegies, cherry tomato and tamagoyaki.
I hope you will like my simple Birdie Hello Kitty kyaraben dinner and my kids having a short school break for 6 days. Yes!!! So happy that I can have my beauty sleep and no need to wake up at 6AM next week ^_^

Argh.....I should have add the legs so the suits won't looked too long......

Bento#04~McDonald Hello Kitty Lion

Another Hong Kong McDonald Hello Kitty~Lion costume~ Actually after I've done the bento & took picture...still didn't notice I forgot to add ribbon!! Until when I view from my pc saw something is missing :( Oh well....too late to add the ribbon so I edit it with photoscape. Pardon me for the fake ribbon :p Back to how I make hello kitty? I used white bread for kitty face & paw. Check out the step by step below:
First I cut out the oval shape from a pancake then same method with white bread. As you can see from the picture, I put the kitty white face into the pancake. Then I trim out the whole body. Next the paws. As for the orange part, I used cooked carrot to cut out the legs & costume collar. Add in all the details with boiled seaweed or dry seaweed also can. As for the lion fur, I used inari (sweet beancurd skin) to make it. Bottom of the hello kitty lion, I put in the left over inside, arrange it properly :) As you can see from the last picture was without the ribbon :( Anyway, my daughter still like her bento ^^
