• Snoopy: Rice (chicken floss underneath), freehand scissor cut out nori detailed.
• Mini Snoopy: Quail eggs, freehand scissor cut out nori detailed.
• Side dishes: Kiwi fruit, prawn gyoza, pea sprouts.

 31.05.16 (Tuesday)

• Jackie: Chicken katsu by using Jackie cookie cutter to cut out the shaped. Add on cheese and nori for the detailed. Punch out paw nori for extra touched.
• Side dishes: stir-fried okra, rice, orange (sprinkle sour plum on top), mayo.

 

01.06.16 (Wednesday)

 

• Domokun: Tofu skin and freehand penknife cut out the shaped. Add on crabstick for mouth and bouquet of flower. Punch out nori eyes using puncher.
• Side dishes: Rice, cauliflower, carrots, sweet sauce chicken drummet, kiwi fruits inside the egg case.

02.06.16 (Thursday)

 

• Chicks: Mashed potatoes, punch out nori detailed using puncher and carrots for beak/feathers
• Side dishes: Rice covered by pumpkin floss, curry chicken with potatoes, bok choy, carrots and orange slices.

Panda cuddles

My belated Mother's Day bento "Mama Panda & Baby Pandas" I simply followed the panda lunch box cover design ^_^ Pretty easy by cutting the nori detailed and filled up all the rice. Baby pandas made out of quail eggs and nori detailed. This time I added red ribbon pick for female pandas :) As for side dishes have prawns and pea sprouts.

Peanuts Snoopy & Woodstock

On Tuesday, I made a quick and easy bento for Snoopy & Woodstock. As you can see from the above photo that Snoopy was made of rice (filled up all) Freehand scissor cut out nori detailed and Woodstock made out of egg sheet with nori detailed as well. I added some broccoli on top of Woodstock to let it stand out more better. At another container, I prepared one piece of chicken katsu cut into few bite size, broccoli, honey cherry tomato and some seedless grapes.

Sheep Bento

 Baa baa..... white sheep bento for my daughter's Wednesday lunch box. I mixed little bit of dark sweet sauce with rice for the sheep face/ears. The fur made out of cauliflower that I filled up on top of the rice. Freehand scissor cut out the nori detailed and how I wished my eyelashes can be as long as the sheep lashes :p Side dishes have gyoza, carrots and oranges.

Puppies sausages

 On Thursday, I cooked simple stir-fried noodles for her lunch and add on sausages on top into puppies designed. Puppies ears made out of oval shaped fishballs and nori for all the face detailed. All the tiny flowers were cut out from the crabstick and side dishes have baby bok choy (chinese cabbage) and slices of orange

 

Bento2015#Dec10~Snoopy Bento

Have you watch the Snoopy And Charlie Brown: The Peanut Movie? I have not and been busy lately for my work before I can take few days break next week with my family :) Since I can't enjoy the movie for the meantime why not I make bento instead ^_^ I remember my dear talented friend tatachan @bonitafood once made cute Snoopy out from quail eggs! So cute and easy to create, she even shared the tutorial photos at Instagram! Click the highlighted link for Instagram or her Blog. 

A close up photo for my Snoopy and quail eggs ^_^ I fill up the rice full and half section add stir-fried veggies on top and leave the other half section to create a simple Snoopy design by just adding nori. Pardon me for the messy freehand scissor cut out nori details especially the eyes :p
 

As for side dishes have chicken katsu, mayonnaise at the sauce container and some grapes.

Do you see a bigger bento box next to it? I didn't make use of the Snoopy bento due to round shape and small space for me to add all the dishes. I got it from Universal Studio Osaka, Japan and they sold as Snoopy meal sets so we can bring home the bento box ^_^ 

Bento2015#Oct22~Snoopy sister Belle Bento

I bought new toy for my Tomica collections ^_^ Look at Snoopy sister "Belle" pretty and long eyelashes!!! My girl said: "Mummy, make Belle bento instead of Snoopy :D" So here you go.... my first attempt making "Belle" as Tomica car shape.
 

Here is my closer look Belle! Underneath Belle is pea sprout with goji-berry (goujizi). To make pink rice, I mix some sakura denbu and shaping using cling wrap. Freehand scissor cut out the nori details and I left out making the car screen pink :)

For side dishes have chicken cheese donuts and potato wedges.

I want to use the Snoopy lunch box that has been hiding inside my cabinet for quite some times :p Actually quite a lot of lunch boxes that I hardly use anymore due to the small compartment. 

Well, I make Charlie Brown hugging Snoopy and think I have not make Charlie Brown before ^_^

Bento2014#Nov05~Happy Snoopy

Ideas from the Snoopy lunchbox ^_^ Been busy learning how to crochet after bought Amigurumei Hello Kitty crochet book but honestly speaking, I've no basic so is quite hard for me to understand where & how to start? Hahaha....luckily I managed to pick up some basic info from many awesome people shared at Youtube (Thank you) Finally I understand how to read and start busy! In the other hand, end up no time to sketch one night before bento because been carried away as I can't wait to see the finish craft. Any idea which character I will start for this crochet? Hehe....
 

Well, I can't fit the ears as same as the lunchbox cover so just freely add in to fit in the box ^_^ To shape into Snoopy, I use cling wrap and shape it! Freehand scissor cut out nori details.
 

Side dishes: Dark sweet sauce chicken, spinach, kamaboko.

Bento2014#Jul02~Snoopy Bento

When was the last time I made Snoopy??? Hmm....very long ago!! Haha....I was looking back all my bento creations and noticed that I made LOTS of Sanrio characters =_=" Gosh....Looks like I know my daughter well!!! When I have done this Snoopy lunch for her, she doesn't seem to like it :( So sad to hear....she asked: Mummy, why no more costume girl??? I told her mummy will continue after few weeks time ^_^ Hopefully she can wait :D

Well, I find my Snoopy face look weird!! Haha...no wonder my daughter not surprise or excited. As usual, I shape the rice using cling wrap and add nori for the details. Corns as woodstock with nori details too! Pea sprout that my kids love it so much so looks like can be seen most of my bento :D

For side dishes: Meat patties, quail eggs as Snoopy and oranges, mini peach.

Bento#Dec02~Snoopy Bento

Oh gosh......I can't believe it!! 2nd of December already??? Another 23 days will be Christmas Day!! Ho ho ho....
During the weekend, kids helped out to set up the Christmas tree with all the lighting and decoration at home. Looks like they are counting the days to open their Christmas gifts ^_^ So for today's lunch bento, I made Snoopy Bento :) Run out of ingredients so I made it simple design. 

A close up Snoopy head onigiri with Santa hat :p I shape the rice using cling wrap and add chicken floss fillings. Cut the crab stick and made santa hat. Nori for the eye, nose and ear. Pretty easy right? 

For side dish: Smoked duck with sweet sauce, sweet pea, eggsheet as Woodstock (Snoopy's friend) and crab stick (white) as snowflakes. 
Another container contain persimmon and apples with few Christmas foodpicks ^_^

Bento#Jan07~Snoopy bento

Snoopy for today's lunch bento. I cooked mushroom tomato pasta for my kids but due to lack of time, I didn't make any design for my son and no time for photo taking as well :( But he still happy! 

I copy the Snoopy image from the sprinkles packet. For your info, the snoopy was super tiny!!! End up, I need to used eggwhite sheet to make snoopy :) 

Here is the closed up Snoopy. Freehand cut the eggwhite sheet and also the nori. The flower nori I used puncher. Underneath the nori flower was broccoli stems. I used flower shape cutter to cut :) 

Poured the cooked pasta to the box first then the mushroom tomato sauce. Arranged the boiled broccoli with heart fondant on top. Next the character~Snoopy~ in the middle holding sausage with cupcake picks on it :)

For the another side of the container, I just add heart shape nugget and cut the cooked sausage half to make like heart. Some apple slices but I actually want to cut checker apple but really time consuming =_=" Well, still managed to finished with some pictures and rushed off sending them to school and work! Bento#15~Snoopy & chicks

Hello to Snoopy & chicks ^_^ My kids loved whole wheat bread so I prepared tuna sandwich. Freehand cut out Snoopy from cheese & add nori/seaweed for the details. As for the chicks, I used oval shape cutter to cut out from the cheese. Next I filled up the cucumber as grass & make a flower ball too. I did took a picture of it, although nothing special but just to show you all how I did :P Pretty simple step ya :D Lastly, add the watermelons with some cute chicks picks, haw flake & some raisin inside the chicks container. Hope you all like this bento ^^
