Bento#Jan27~Kor Kor & Mei Mei (Siblings)
Its Wednesday!! Today's school lunch, I'm making siblings onigiri.
"Kor Kor onigiri" bento for my son ^_^ After reheat the left overnight cooked rice, I used cling wrapper to wrap out the face shape and put small piece of cheese inside the rice. Cut out nori for hair, eyes, nose and lips. Add a cap pick for the onigiri. Also crab stick for the cheeks!
"Mei Mei onigiri" for my daughter ^_^ Same as making the brother one except the eyes with lashes and insert the ribbon picks for her. Also cut the hair longer for her :p
Boiled some broccoli, fishballs, carrots, crab stick and sweet corns. Arranged it and used baran for separate the foods. After done both bentos quickly take some photos. And forgot to take both bentos together =_=" I took the "kor kor" bento first then after finished, my son will nicely pack to warmer bag. Next, my daughter's turn.
"Mei Mei onigiri" bento pictures some are blur as there is no sunlight yet :D Snaps few photos then my daughter quickly packed hers!
Going to show you all the rest of the pictures below and while adding those frames, I've noticed my "Siblings onigiri" can add extra design by holding a present or Ang Pao(Red packet) since Chinese New Year just around the corner :) Oh well.....Next round bento will try to do in the evening for dinner bento! No need to rush :D

Bento#Jan26~Hello Kitty Toast & Goofy Toast
I spend too much time on "Goofy" so making a quick one for my girl. Since she likes Hello Kitty, I'm making this toast bread & pretty easy!
Bottom is butter/kaya sandwich and the top one with Hello Kitty face is toasted hazelnut strawberry bread. How to make? I'm sure most of you already knew ^^ First, take two pieces of bread, used heart shape mold cutter to cut both pieces of bread. Spread your kids favourite jam or any fillings onto one piece of bread. The other piece used Hello Kitty mold cutter to pressed the image in the middle. Please take note: Don't cut through or pressed too hard as you just need the shape only.
Once you got the Hello Kitty image, cover on top of the spreaded jam bread then used mold to sealed the bread. Next, bring to oven toaster to toast for 3mins (Depends on your oven) As I'm using the small oven toaster :p But make sure keep on eye with the bread as you don't want to have a black kitty later!! hehehe....
After done, I just add some chocolate to the eyes & whiskers. As for the nose & ribbon, I spread some hazelnut strawberry.
Some Hello Kitty gummy candy that I bought from candy shop the other day. I'm surprised after open the gummy wrapper was Hello Kitty shape as I thought just the wrapper is Hello Kitty but inside might just normal oval shape gummy.
Still have some space so I add edamame with lovely Hello Kitty picks attached. Hope you all can make this simple toast bread for your loved ones too! Hugs!
Here is the bento tools I've used ^_^ The heart shape mold, used for Hello Kitty Toast and the lucky leaf shape mold, I'm using it for my son's Goofy Toast.
Well, everything the same except using different molds :) I don't have Goofy cookie cutter so can't pressed out the shape. Need to draw out and cut nori paste here and there....
Goofy make from cheese and nori/seaweed. I crushed some blue fondant then spread to Goody's hat. Pink fondant for Goofy's tongue. The rest of the details as you can see.....trimming and cutting job :)
Hope you will like my son's Goofy Toast bento too!! Cheers!

Bento#Jan25~Red Riding Hood & Wolf
Today after send kids to school will go wet market before headed to my office. These is what have in my fridge =_=" So what theme should I make for these two man-tou? Well, let's do "Red Riding Hood & Wolf" ^_^
Used two different round shape cutter to cut the cooked chicken ham. Cut small round cheese for riding hood face and cut all the details for the nori. I just freehand cut the nori and perhaps still warm so the cheese melted and stick together with the ham after I've done all the details. Punched out the ribbon from puncher and add little bit of pink crushed fondant :)
Gosh......I didn't look for any design of the wolf so just freehand draw to the baking sheet and take scissor cut nori out the wolf then stick to the cheese. Used toothpick to draw out :p Apple skin for wolf eyes and add nori for the eyeball. While I'm busy making, my son gave me an idea to add the paws. So, I quickly freehand cut out the nori without drawing >_< Due to lack of time.....this is the best I can do! Hahaha....Not fierce enough but still can passed right?
Ta-da.....my "Red Riding Hood & Wolf" theme bento for today's lunch. Kids know man-tou will slightly like rubber when chew by the time they have their lunch but they still like it! Phew...
This "6A.M. Clock" bento for my son. That's my wake up time every morning to make their bentos but running out of time so can't do much!
Hope you all will have a wonderful day! Hugs!

Bento#Jan24~Gaspard & Lisa
I saw these two cute dogs from a bento book by akinoichigo. Pretty easy to make so I'm going to make and decorate on butter cheese bun for my girl school snack!
Gaspard is the black dog, I trace the dog at baking sheet then cut nori to stick on cheese. Lisa is the white dog, just put the baking sheet on cheese to trace out by using toothpick. Add nori for scarf, eye and nose.
Bought some yam mochi so I add cute dog fork picks!
Before I put "Gaspard & Lisa" on top of the bread, I cut two nori strips to make it more nicer! Hope you all will this snack bento! Have a great day :)
Bento#Jan23~Flowers Garden
Its Monday!!! Back to school and I prepare "Flowers Garden" bento for my girl lunch time. Something simple and less design for today :p
Yesterday evening went to my sister's younger son 1st birthday party so I packed some left over foods for today's bento. This morning I reheat the "Nasi Beriani" then wrapped with nori/seaweed. Due to the rice won't stick properly as ball shape so I need to wrap with nori. Next, I make egg sheet to make flower and wrap the black ball. Boiled some broccoli, crab stick, carrots and fishcake. For the black flower eyes, I used straw to cut the egg sheet and cutter for mouth. Filled in all the cooked vegies :) Add some cute insects picks! Carrot flowers, I used 3 different flower cutter to cut the cooked carrots then stick spaghetti strips.
Slice some apple and persimmon for her desserts ^_^
So here is my simple "Flowers Garden" bento for today. After took the pictures and noticed that I should add some nori for the hard boiled egg as flower face too! Oh well.....no time for it :(

Hello everyone! I'm making bento as usual on Sunday evening for my kids snack. Today thinking of making "Minnie Mouse" fell in LOVED. Since Valentine's Day just next month so I just practice!!
Minnie Mouse made from cheese. I draw and trace the picture to a baking sheet. A lot of nori/seaweed cutting, paste here and there....I crushed some pink fondant and spread on the cheese after done all the details.
Cream cupcake and honey cherry tomato. Mickey mouse head used puncher to punch and stick on cheese. Heart fork pick in the middle and leave picks for tomato.
I liked this Minnie Mouse pose as though she's in LOVED and looking at Mickey Mouse above :) What do you think? Hope you all like this theme bento ^_^ Cheers to all!
