Bento2015#Dec24~Line Christmas Bento

Ho ho ho....it's Christmas Eve! I made this Line X-mas Bento quite some times but only today I share at my Instagram & Blog ^_^ I made Line Brown as reindeer and Line Cony wears Santa hat.

A close up Line Brown rice ball that I mix with dark sweet sauce and rice. Red part is crabstick and the green part for reindeer is broccoli stem.

Line Cony is easy to make but just the nori details that need to take some times to cut out. I freehand scissor cut out the nori details and just add onto the rice ball. Crabstick for the Santa hat and I support with rice behind.

For side dishes have some grapes and chicken katsu with some mayonnaise on top.

I also add a Christmas tree made of broccoli in between the Line Brown and Cony for them to decorate the tree ^_^ I wish you and your family will enjoy this Christmas Eve and Christmas Day!

Bento2015#Dec10~Snoopy Bento

Have you watch the Snoopy And Charlie Brown: The Peanut Movie? I have not and been busy lately for my work before I can take few days break next week with my family :) Since I can't enjoy the movie for the meantime why not I make bento instead ^_^ I remember my dear talented friend tatachan @bonitafood once made cute Snoopy out from quail eggs! So cute and easy to create, she even shared the tutorial photos at Instagram! Click the highlighted link for Instagram or her Blog

A close up photo for my Snoopy and quail eggs ^_^ I fill up the rice full and half section add stir-fried veggies on top and leave the other half section to create a simple Snoopy design by just adding nori. Pardon me for the messy freehand scissor cut out nori details especially the eyes :p

As for side dishes have chicken katsu, mayonnaise at the sauce container and some grapes.

Do you see a bigger bento box next to it? I didn't make use of the Snoopy bento due to round shape and small space for me to add all the dishes. I got it from Universal Studio Osaka, Japan and they sold as Snoopy meal sets so we can bring home the bento box ^_^

A closer look of my Gudetama Bento foodart. I trim out egg sheet for Gudetama shape using penknife. Freehand scissor cut out nori details too and simply put on top of the rice. Lastly, I add a Christmas tree pick and "Merry Christmas" pick ^_^

For side dishes have meat patties (mayonnaise on top), broccoli, snowflakes (white eggsheet) and some grapes.

Bento2015#Dec08~Hello Kitty Egg Sheet

When was the last time I prepare egg sheet designed? Hmm..... quite long I think =_=" Looking at the Hello Kitty Thermos lunch box makes me think of easier way to decorate since is small space :) To learn making deco egg sheet simply visit +Shirley Wong "Little Miss Bento" tutorial HERE ^_^

A close up photo of my Hello Kitty egg sheet ^_^ I use two large eggs then separate the whites and yolks. Why I need two eggs? Because the balance egg sheets and add on to my son's lunch box compare to use 1 egg don't think will be enough :p

After separate the egg whites and yolks simply beat it using a fork and sieve to remove the bubbles. I pour the egg yolks to non stick pan then let it cook under low heat and off it when look dry. Remove from heat and I use Hello Kitty cookie cutter to cut the head and heart shape cutter for the love surrounding. Put back the cook yolk sheet and inject the egg white using injection syringe under low heat. When cook then remove and add on the nori details ^_^

For side dishes have pandan chicken wraps, broccoli, fish ball (oval shape) as Hello Kitty and egg sheet yolk after cut out.

I hope you like today's sharing "Hello Kitty Egg Sheet" bento ^_^ Have a lovely day!

Here's the close up My Melody Snowman. Underneath is stir-fried spinach with garlic and put My Melody on top. Crabstick for the scarf and snowflakes. I was in a hurry so just grab one of the eye pick (back view) from "BentoUSA" for My Melody hand since I need white color :D

Bento2015#Dec01~Frozen Olaf

Yay! It's month of December ^_^

Do you want to build a snowman? Hello! I'm Olaf :) Looks like Olaf can't wait for the upcoming Christmas Day to arrive. Let's build snowman and time to create some Christmas Theme bento.

Sadly over here we can't enjoy to build snowman or experience winter =_=" So let's make Snowman Bento instead. I'm using Nude Food Movers lunch box and create Olaf head/body separated due to the square space.

Olaf make of rice by shaping them using cling wrap. Freehand scissor cut out the nori details and toasted spaghetti for Olaf hands. Carrot for nose.

For side dishes have Sardin, broccoli stir-fried with shimeji mushrooms and some grapes.

I hope you will like this Frozen Olaf bento ^_^
