Bento2015#Nov26~Cinnamoroll Bento

It's Cinnamoroll! Do you like this Sanrio character? So long I didn't make this cute character :D A little sugar (fondant) for her lunch since I didn't create "blue" egg sheet for Cinnamoroll eyes ^_^

First, I shape Cinnamoroll head and wrap up some chicken floss inside using cling wrap. Arrange the head into the lunch box and body then fill up with spinach plus goji berries. To make the "blue" eyes, I crush the blue alphabet fondants into powder using spoon then add onto the cheese. Pink fondant powder for the cheeks and mouth. Lastly, I add the ears :)

As for side dishes have gyoza, tofu fish cake cut into slices and some grapes.

I hope you like this Cinnamoroll Bento and you may skip the fondant powder by using nori instead ^_^

Bneto2015#Nov25~Hello Kitty Fish Balls

Opps..... I make Hello Kitty theme bento again ^_^ My daughter requests to bring this Hello Kitty Thermos lunch box so it's super easy for me since I don't have to create new idea :D Anyway, one thing about this thermos lunch box is very limited space to design and only can pack little foods =_="

Perhaps when she goes to Secondary might not want to use this HK Thermos. By then she will request for more foods and no longer wants cute bento just like her brother :D

A closer look of the Hello Kitty that I use fish oval shape balls (bought from market). If you have followed my bento, you might remembered I did before Hello Kitty made out of fish balls but many years ago :D This round I skip the yellow nose (you may use corn or cheese) instead of nori :D As usual adding eyelashes for Kitty-chan :)

The rice is mix with Hello Kitty furikake (store bought) that comes with mini Hello Kitty flakes for decoration ^_^ Love it!

As for side dishes have stir-fried Siew Pak Choy小白菜 and pork cutlet. Finally my daughter can enjoys her grapes after recovered from her cough ^_^

I hope you like today's sharing and gambateh for her test paper! 2 more days to go! Fighting!

Minions Tamagoyaki Food Art

It's Saturday and why I'm here updating my blog??? Well, nothing special just happen to have the mood to create food art after I cooked the tamagoyaki for today's lunch at home ^_^ Am I addicted or perhaps most of my bento friends will have the same thought :D Whenever we cooked or even see outside foods felt like create into characters. Lol!

Well, I don't cook every weekend since I've cooked dinner for weekdays! I told my hubby kitchen is closed every weekend but once awhile will tired of outside foods so I just cooked simple dishes.

Yesterday I shared Minion Noodles so today I make Minion Tamagoyaki ^_^ Cook simple rice by adding all ingredients (stir-fried garlic with taiwanese sausages/carrots/chikuwa) into the rice cooker. Seasoning with dark sweet sauce, soy sauce & mirin and stir well. Then let it cook! So simple and taste much nicer than fried rice ^_^

While waiting for the rice cooker is cooked, I prepare tamagoyaki and start freehand scissor cut out the nori details.

A closer look of the Minions Tamagoyaki ^_^

That's my daughter hand holding the chopstick while I take a few shots!

I hope you like today's sharing post and thank you for the visit! Have a blessed weekend too!
