Bento2015#Jan29~Pusheen Bento

My daughter likes this emoticon from Facebook and during my trips, she will send cute emoticons to chat with me online or using Line chat ^_^ Everyday never missed chatting with me and my hubby complained that what about him? Haha....He even told me everyday must charged his handphone or else low battery because of my daughter used his handphone everyday!

So today's bento lunch I made Mama pusheen and baby pusheen for her ^_^

Both Pusheen made from black sesame mix with rice and shape them using cling wrap. Cut out nori for the details.

Pan-fried mashed potatoes coated with bread crumbs, broccoli, quail egg (hiding) carrots and some mayonnaise.

Simple bento hope you like it!

Bento2015#Jan28~Pink Totoro

Today's post I would like to share with you some of my Japan trips photos that can be view after the bento post ^_^ As you can see from the above photo, I bought new stuffs :D All the while been looking for the Totoro calendar and I know amazon or ebay can easily puchase online but I thought of try my luck if I able to get one during my trips! And yes! Happily found it and without hesitate I bought it! Wish that I can bring home more other cute Totoro items from the shops but sadly my luggage can't squeeze anymore and still have other places to go =_="

To match the Totoro calendar, I made pink Totoro :P Opps... lovely pink for my daughter and she requested lashes for Totoro :D Hahaha....

Here's the close up Pink Totoro made of sakura denbu and rice. I just add the sakura denbu outer part instead of mixing together. Add the nori details for Totoro and cheese for eyes.

Side dishes have gyoza, taiwanese sausages, carrots, pea sprouts and few slices of oranges. I hope you will like this lovely pink Totoro (I know might look weird but as long my daughter happy with it).

So where's the place? Is at Yufu-shi Oita. Is quite nice to stopover this place before we headed to our hotel near Oita Station. I took some pictures and sadly I can't buy more of the inside shop! It will cost me a bomb ^_^

Sharing some of the small shops at Yufu-shi Oita ^_^ Didn't expected have Snoopy, Hello Kitty and Frozen at Yufuin Floral Village!

Bento2015#Jan26~Sleepy Hello Kitty

I'm back and kitchen is open when my kids told me they prefer my home cooked bento rather than school set meals ^_^ I thought they might tell me to stop prepare them bento after my return :D Well, been resting and enjoying my holidays so today still feeling sleepy Zz...zz...zz....making Hello Kitty kyaraben with cozy blanket inspired by talented Little Miss Bento eggsheet.

Here's the close up Hello Kitty ^_^ I arrange the pea sprouts then put Hello Kitty rice on top. This time instead of freehand scissor cut out the nori, I use cutter to cut out boiled seaweed/kombu. To let it stick onto the rice/egg, I add some mayonnaise. As for Hello Kitty blanket, separate the egg white and egg yolk. Make the egg yolk sheet first then I use Hello Kitty cookie cutter to cut out the shape and also cut out some star shapes. Filled up the holes by using syringe to pump out the egg whites. By using the syringe, I find it easier to filled up as well avoid spill out. Let it cook with low heat ^_^

For side dishes have chicken drumette with button mushrooms. Sauce at the sauce container and I cut out apple leaf design. To view the tutorial for the apple leaf can click HERE.

I hope you will like today's bento lunch. Have a nice day ahead to all of you and thank you for visiting my blog.

Hello Kitty Winter Food Art

Happy New Year 2015! My kids school reopen next week but I will continue my bento break for another two weeks ^_^ Kids will take school set meals while I'm away :D I don't have to worried and can enjoy my vacation to Japan with my mother. Yappie that I can escape and enjoy the cold weather.

Today, I'm at home with my kids and prepare simple lunch. Just want to share with my readers that my blog will update after my two weeks trips. Hopefully, I will see your visit again ^_^ So what's for lunch? It's Hello Kitty for sure :D Dress up Hello Kitty wears headgear and enjoys the cold weather.

To make pink rice, I mixed with sakura denbu. All shaped done by using cling wrap. Freehand scissor cut out nori for eyes and silly me that I forgot to add Kitty-chan whiskers =_="
For side dishes, I cooked chicken fillet breadcrumb, broccoli with shimeji mushroom.
